First ‘yote

Have been seeing a young coyote off and on this spring/summer very early in mornings.
This morning opened window blinds and across the way was coyote feeding on deer carcass.
I hurried down to get my CZ and loaded 3 rounds of my Hornady VMax 32 grain bullets.
I slowly went out door and wanted to get a rest on a vertical 4x4 post. As I moved slowly to
the post the coyote looked my way, I thought for sure she would take off, but decided it needed one more bite.
Bad move, 1 shot, one kill, dropped with 86 yard shot behind right front shoulder!
After shooting at bowling pins “prairie dogs “ and pop bottles “gophers” for the past 11 years
today was a really quick and easy target with good shot placement.
This was juvenile female about 30-35 pounds. Was eating on whitetail fawn, I do not believe this ‘yote killed it
but some older ones did as there was NO gut pile and fawn was just front and rear quarters.
