Re: Quiet as a Mouse Around Here

Let me just say a few things here. Tarrin is the board Founder. 204Shooter, Brian, is his father and was the originator of this forum many years ago. He has the ultimate say in what becomes of the forum. He made me an Administrator a few years back. That gave me limited powers. Mostly I spend a lot ...

Quiet as a Mouse Around Here

I don't get it. It seemed like the forum was gaining momentum. Now, not so much. What do you think it would take to get the forum off and running again? Feel free to express your opinion. If you don't feel comfortable saying something in public, send a PM. I'd love to hear your what's on your mind.

Re: A new hope-

I bought one of these years ago on a whim. Turned out to get a lot more use than I ever expected. Made by RCBS, three way trim head. Trims case length, chamfers and de-burrs all in one operation.

Re: About those water jugs-

Less explosive is my thought. In the past some members have reported that the 35 Bergers are a more "fur friendly" way to take coyotes.

Re: About those water jugs-

I know where my money would be riding on this comparison if water filled one gallon jugs are the targets.

Hornady 32 gr Vmax - velocity 4225 Feet Per Second, polymer tip
Berger 35 gr FB - velocity ??? depends on reloading specifics, fully jacked hollow point

Re: Shooting the 1911-

You hardly ever see swords in Marine day to day duties. They are mostly used for formal ceremonies. I didn't learn sword drill until DI School on Parris Island. Swords were a commonly required for any type of parade or formal ceremony. Not every Marine needs one, but they are often required for Nonc...

Re: Shooting the 1911-

Here's an interesting fact. In the Marines the Colt 1911 is only issued to Noncommissioned Officers and above. That was E4, Corporal and above. We weren't even allowed to qualify with them until receiving our blood stripes. That's the red stripe down the legs of the Dress Blues. Marine tradition say...

Re: Annual Sausage Making

You had me so stoked for something different today. After playing at church, I went to see if I could find some mud bugs for lunch. No such luck. The weather has taken it's toll on this year's crop of crawfish. I'm looking forward to eating a few pounds as soon as they become available. Mudbugs and ...

Re: Tell us about yourself...

Greetings fellow members, I do not yet own a 204 but am gathering the components for a build. I have a Sako 85xs action and stock, and am currently searching for a barrel. I have it under good competent authority that the lilja barrel in the Swap Meet forum is still available. You should contact hi...

Hodgdon H322 is an Extreme powder. Works good with the 204 Ruger.
