Re: Small Caliber Posted Results Shoot 2024
Thanks Skipper, i have missed the past shoots but look forward to the upcoming one. It's really too bad that forums such as this, don't get the attention they deserve. There is so much knowledge out there, but it goes to waste except for the few that embrace it. Thanks to all the members who have gi...

Re: A simple question for lurkers and active members-
51, 2 weeks ago. I own 2 204R, both are Tikka's. My lightweight walking gun wears a Lilja 1-10 twist barrel for the 40's and my other one is a factory Tikka varmint with the factory 1-12 twist for the 32's-39's. Waiting on a CZ 527 in 20 VT to be delivered

Re: New gun today.
I have the Tikka T3x in 223 but with the 1:8 twist barrel, by far the most accurate 223 i have owned, especially with the sporter weight barrel. Mine shot better each time i went to the range. It shoots 53gr, 55gr, 69gr, and 75gr bullets very well but prefers 55gr V-Max and Varget. Will try to find ...

Re: Tikka T3 Varmint & Savage 12 FV
Both rifles are the 1:12 twist, so the 40's are probably a no go but i have plenty of 32's and a few 39's. Skipper, that section was going to be my next visit and see what everyone else is using. Thanks for the info

Re: Tikka T3 Varmint & Savage 12 FV
I also have another t3 lite also chambered in .223 with the 1:8 twist barrel. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it will shoot 50gr up to 75gr accurately and you are correct with the tikka barrels taking a little longer to break in.

Re: Tikka T3 Super Varmint & Savage 12 FV
Both guns are chambered in .204 ruger and i will get a pic here shortly. And after doing a little research, neither i nor the gentleman selling the tikka knew anything. The rifle i purchased is just the regular stainless varmint model not the super varmint

Tikka T3 Varmint & Savage 12 FV
Went to an estate sale today with a hunting buddy, hoping to score some hunting and possibly reloading supplies, as the estate owner was an avid hunter. So long story short, i scored an older tikka t3 varmint with less than 200 rds down the tube and an older savage 12 fv with a 24" barrel as ap...

Re: COAL For Browning A-Bolt
I have an x-bolt and it shoots lights out at the saami length with benchmark and 32 gr v-maxes. I have tried to reach the lands but too no avail and since it shoots so good at that length, why bother. Should also say that this load works great in remington, winchester, and gfi aka fiocchi brass and ...
