Note: 40 grain bullets are right on the edge of being stabilized with a 1:12 twist. Many .204 Ruger users are finding that some rifles with a 1:12 twist will shoot 40 grain bullets accurately while other rifles will not. ![]() Here is a photo that Glen Asher shared with us that shows the 39 grain Sierra Blitzking on the left, Hornady's 40 grain V-Max in the center and Noslers 40 grain Ballistic tip on the right.
